From Vision to Reality
A Trimaran Comes to Life

Local businessman, Scott Self, has once again contracted Greg Olsen to build him a boat.  And this time they are going bigger! Not only will Harbor Lights be a 65' long trimaran but it's going to be two stories!
Designed specifically for Sail with Scott, this boat will hold 98 passengers.  An enclosed lower deck equipped with tables, chairs, air conditioning, heat, restrooms and more will make this boat enjoyable year round.  Scheduled to launch in the spring of 2012, Harbor Lights will be the only boat of it's kind in the DFW area.

The Building of Harbor Lights

Harbor Lights is being constructed of the lightest material in boat building...aluminum.  Since corrosion is a concern with aluminum, especially below the waterline, the three hulls are fiberglass structures capable of holding a total weight of approximately 60,000 pounds.  These hulls were crafted in Florida and transported here for the build.

The interlocking aluminum flooring used to create the deck on Seawolf is also being
used for the upper and lower decks on Harbor Lights.
